I have practiced yoga for over 20 years and originally started yoga as a fitness class, to improve flexibility and strength. I found yoga beneficial for the body and I was intrigued to understand more about the benefits of the breath and mindfulness.
I embarked on the British Wheel of Yoga (BWY) foundation course to gain a deeper understanding for my own practice and then quickly moved onto the BWY Teaching 500hr Diploma with Mary Mackie and Lesley Isaacson.
I have since trained in Yin Yoga with Sarah Lo, completing all 3 stages (120 hours Yoga Alliance Certified).
My style of teaching is influenced by my personal experiences and the individuals I have trained with over the years. I endeavour to ensure my teaching is adapted to my audience, so that it is accessible and beneficial to each individual, providing a strengthening and balancing practice.

Flow Yoga is a mixed ability yoga class, the style of yoga taught is Hatha and incorporates dynamic and static postures, breathing techniques and mindfulness relaxation. Yin Yoga is a slower paced yoga where you hold the postures for longer, allowing time to go deeper into the muscles and tissues of the body.
A private yoga experience provide the opportunity for sessions to be tailored to clients individual needs and requirements.
