YOGA CLASSES
FLOW YOGA
Flow Yoga is a mixed ability yoga class, the style of yoga taught is Hatha and incorporates dynamic and static postures, flowing mindfully through postures guided by the breath, improving flexibility, stamina and strength. Pranayama techniques and Mindfulness relaxation are included in the class, cultivating calmness and awareness of mind and body.

YIN YOGA
Yin Yoga is a slower paced yoga where you hold the postures for longer. By holding the postures for longer it allows time to target the different tissues of the body, the fascia, ligaments and also the joints, helping to improve mobility and flexibility.
During the class we work through the 5 Yin Yang Organ Pairs aligned to the Meridians, based on Traditional Chinese Medicene Theory.
Pranayama and Mindfulness techniques are incorporated throughout the class and the slower pace as a whole provides the opportunity to practice and develop a deeper level of Mindfulness.
YIN & YANG YOGA
This style of Class provides the opportunity to work the whole body, strengthening and stretching the muscles, different layers of fascia and joints.
The Class will start with traditional Hatha Yoga postures and sequences, focusing on strengthening muscles of the body and then move onto the slower style of Yin Yoga, holding posture for longer, allowing the body to relax and yield into postures, targeting the fascia and joints of the body.
Mindfulness and Breathing exercises are threaded through the class, providing a whole mind and body workout.
